BioBehavioral Diagnostics Names New VP of Marketing

--Stephen Butts brings extensive experience in delivering market-leading
products to ADHD patients--

Cambridge, MA, July 30, 2007 – BioBehavioral Diagnostics Company (BioBDx), recently appointed Stephen E. Butts as vice president of marketing and sales. Mr. Butts has over 14 years experience in marketing and sales for pharmaceutical firms, most recently as U.S. marketing director at Eli Lilly and Co, leading the effort to market Strattera® (atomoxetine HCL). BioBDx is an innovator in diagnostic systems for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and is currently commercializing its lead product -- the McLean Motion and Attention Test for ADHD (MMAT/ADHD™ System).

"Stephen brings a wealth of proven experience in ADHD marketing and sales, which is vital as we prepare for the commercial launch of the MMAT/ADHD™ System,” said Eric Gordon, founder and CEO of BioBDx.  “His deep understanding of the clinical challenges in diagnosing and treating ADHD, extensive skills in building a marketing and sales infrastructure, and incredible energy are all the ingredients we need to ensure we reach those patients and their clinicians who could benefit most from the MMAT/ADHD™ System.”

At Eli Lilly Mr. Butts was responsible for product launch planning and oversaw all marketing activities to support Strattera, an important non-stimulant medication option for both children and adults affected by ADHD.  Under his guidance, sales reached $370 million in the first full year of the Strattera launch with second year sales exceeding $660 million. After guiding Strattera through launch, Mr. Butts was a regional sales director in Lilly’s Primary Care Neuroscience Division responsible for Strattera, Cymbalta® (duloxetine HCL), and Symbyax ® (olanzapine and fluoxetine HCL).

BioBDx’s lead product -- MMAT/ADHD™ System-- is a non-invasive, office-based FDA-cleared diagnostic system that provides evidence-based and objective measures of the core symptoms of ADHD: inattention (difficulty in staying focused and on task), hyperactivity (inability to control movement and sit still while working), and impulsivity (inability to inhibit inappropriate responses).  While the disorder is estimated to affect 8-12% of school aged children in the U.S., an accurate diagnosis is often difficult because it is based upon subjective interviews and assessments by clinicians, parents and teachers. The MMAT/ADHD™ System employs a novel set of proprietary technologies that provide objective and precise measures of the core symptoms of ADHD in a controlled and reproducible setting.

“This is an incredible opportunity to address the need for objective behavioral measurements in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of ADHD,” said Mr. Butts. “BioBDx is advancing a completely new way of approaching the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, which could allow clinicians to objectively diagnose ADHD and therefore improve treatment outcomes for patients.  BioBDx is at the forefront of the diagnosis and management of behavioral disorders, such as ADHD, and may provide new hope for patients and parents.”

About the MMAT/ADHD™ System
The MMAT/ADHD™ System objectively and quantitatively measures the three core symptoms of ADHD (inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity), gauging a patient’s ability to sit still and pay attention to a defined task, under controlled conditions that replicate a classroom or workplace environment. The data generated by the MMAT/ADHD™ System directly correlates to brain function as determined by functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
