Larry Dubé, Medical Technology Industry Veteran, Joins
BioBehavioral Diagnostics Company as Vice President of Operations

--Extensive operational and product development capabilities added as company progresses toward launch of advanced systems to aid clinicians in the objective assessment of ADHD--

Cambridge, MA, April 7, 2008 – BioBehavioral Diagnostics Company (BioBDx), an innovator in the development of advanced systems for assessment of psychiatric and neurological disorders, recently appointed Larry Dubé as vice president of operations. Mr. Dubé adds senior leadership in product development, engineering and manufacturing, stemming from the medical device and technology markets.

Most recently, Mr. Dubé was vice president of operations for CardioNet Inc. and Sr. Director of Technical Operations for ZOLL Medical Corporation, where he oversaw several product launches, developed supply chain management processes, managed intellectual property strategies and implemented essential information technology infrastructures.

"It is an ideal time for Larry to join BioBDx as we approach commercial launch of our first product for the assessment of ADHD in school age children,” said Eric Gordon, founder and CEO of BioBDx. “Larry’s experience will be instrumental in enabling the first product launch, just as we seek to expand the clinical indications for use of novel tools for behavioral and psychiatric disorders. Mr. Dubé will be responsible for all aspects of manufacturing scale up, operations, distribution, customer service and regulatory oversight of the in-office systems.”

The company is currently commercializing its lead product – the McLean Motion and Attention Test for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (MMAT/ADHD™ System). The MMAT/ADHD™ System is the first FDA-cleared device1 that offers medical professionals an office-based capability to objectively measure a patient’s inability to inhibit abnormal levels of motor activity, inattention and impulse control, which are the core observable symptoms of ADHD. The MMAT/ADHD™ System, a 15-minute, non-invasive test, provides a clinician with objective measures of these neurological control functions. As a result, the MMAT/ADHD™ System helps clinicians systematically develop a prompt and accurate diagnosis in a way that is consistently reproducible and reliably valid.

1FDA has cleared this product for marketing through a 510(k) premarket notification.   FDA clearance of a 510(k) premarket notification does not denote "official approval," but it does permit the product's sale in the United States.

“BioBDx is in a unique position to help patients and families overcome the uncertainties and challenges they face in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. The company has a unique product, which offers clinicians a wealth of objective diagnostic information and the potential to significantly improve the level of care available to patients and their families,” noted Larry Dubé.

About the MMAT/ADHD™ System
The MMAT/ADHD™ System objectively and quantitatively measures the three core symptoms of ADHD (inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity), gauging a patient’s ability to sit still and pay attention to a defined task, under controlled conditions that replicate a classroom or workplace environment. The data generated by the MMAT/ADHD™ System directly correlates to brain function as determined by functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
