Reliable, Reproducible Data – The Quotient™ ADHD System Patient Report

Example of Patient Report ResultsObjective measures of hyperactivity, inattention and impulsivity are presented in the Quotient™ ADHD System Patient Report in an easy-to-read series of illustrations that clearly place the patient’s performance levels in the spectrum of the disorder. The Patient Report clearly illustrates how the patient’s performance levels compare to similarly developed individuals (i.e., age, grade and gender) without ADHD. The data used for comparison is derived from a database of Quotient™ ADHD System Test results for more than 2,000 children and adolescents.

Clinicians indicate that the Patient Report is easy to use and interpret. The report presents a series of intuitive graphics to identify abnormal levels of high and low percentiles of impulsivity and inattention. Illustrated below are examples, at a summary level, of the behavior data captured from selected patients, which exhibit both their abnormal levels of the core symptoms of ADHD versus the levels of the same symptoms within a selection of non-ADHD subjects who also took the Quotient™ ADHD System Test. The normal range of performance for non-ADHD subjects is indicated by a gray band ranging from 10% to 90%. The patient’s individual movement activity and performance levels are indicated by the red vertical line, with the patient’s actual performance measure printed directly above the red line.

Activity:
The embedded MTS device precisely captures the patient’s motor activities during the Quotient™ ADHD System Test. The Quotient ™ ADHD System calculates and aggregates the number of movement micro events of 1mm, pattern complexity, frequency and duration of the movements in 5-minute segments. The Patient Report illustrates how a patient responds or manages their motor activity when confronted with a standardized script of various stimuli in a highly controlled and reproducible setting within the clinician’s office.

Performance:
The Quotient™ ADHD System illustrates the extent the patient was On-Task (hitting most targets accurately), Distracted (reacting inappropriately to targets), or Impulsive (hitting many non-targets) during each 30-second segment of the
15 to 20-minute test. The Quotient™ ADHD System then illustrates the number and nature of the patient’s fluctuations in attention over the duration of the Quotient™ ADHD System Test.
